This evening I was downtown at sunset. I had made a special trip downtown to visit one of my favorite little shops in town.
I wanted to see how Trina’s Tea Kettle & Boutique was decorated for Christmas. Trina always has some really nice decorations for other holidays so I was sure that it would look nice.
I also went today because of it being Small Business Saturday. I wanted to support one of the small businesses in town.
I ended up buying some Winter White Earl Grey tea and look forward to trying it soon. It is a mix of a white tea from China and bergamot oil.
You can see in the reflection of the window that the sun is setting and that the sky is turning color.
Trina’s shop is nearby the Tracy Transit Center and the Harvest of Progress sculpture. You can see that they are both a bit colored from the reflection of the sunset. However, you can also see the fall colors in the trees.
I took the long way to my car and walked around the traffic circle so that I could get some nice pictures of the Sunset and the Harvest of Progress. You can see some pictures I took during another sunset by clicking on the link in the previous sentence.
I watched the sun set as it was so beautiful to see the sun drop over the edge of the Central Valley and light up the sky. I also noticed the puddles of water left by the recent rain and looked for a good reflection picture.
The sky was beautifully reflected in one of the puddles. I am glad that I made a visit downtown to visit Trina’s Tea Kettle. I will remember this sunset when I try the tea later.
I then headed off to the mall and a couple other stores. One store was packed with people returning things that they bought yesterday. I guess that they found better bargains somewhere else.
I hope everyone had a good Thanksgiving holiday and are refreshed as they head back to school or work on Monday.
