Since today was Thanksgiving I decided to go to lunch at the Red Tractor Cafe.
Oh, I guess that I should say that it is Canadian Thanksgiving.
Since I have ancestors who lived in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick in the 1700’s I like to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving each year.
See my post: Almost Canadian?
I put my order in and filled my mason jar with orangeade and took a seat to wait for my meal.
I was trying to figure out the writing on the table. It looks like it says “Garlic Mashed Potatoes may Benefit Your Health”.
Here is the open face turkey sandwich that I order each time that I go to the Red Tractor Cafe for Thanksgiving.
It was a nice meal, although it would have been nice to have some more vegetables 🙂
While eating I thought of the things that I am thankful for, especially the wonderful friends that I have in Canada who were also giving thanks today.
It is not long until it will be Thanksgiving here in the US, you can tell by all the Christmas decorations that are going up.

p.s. The post is a bit rushed tonight. My computer took almost an hour to reboot because of some Windows updates. grrrr……
Thanks for the post! I had didn’t get to celebrate, though I like to at least wish my Canadian friends a Happy Thanksgiving! We lived in Canada for 7.5 years, so I did enjoy the early Thanksgiving! take care
