The future Sacramento Cracker Barrel was in the news today as they announced that they will soon start hiring for positions at the location on Howe Avenue in Arden Arcade.

This will be the second Cracker Barrel location to open in California.

The Cracker Barrel website now shows the Sacramento location in their Locations Opening Soon section. They list a time frame of Summer 2018, but it is expected that they will open sometime in June. Depending on the timing I may be out of the country when they open. However, I do plan on making a visit there as soon as possible after it opens.

The Cracker Barrel employment site also lists multiple openings, so they are already taking applications. They list openings for Host, Server, Retail Sales, Prep Cook, Grill Cook, Backup Cook, Dishwasher and Night Maintenance.

I am looking forward to seeing a menu like this in front of me as I get ready to place my order.

However, I probably won’t need the menu. I am already looking forward to seeing a plate like this. I can almost taste the delicious Chicken Fried Chicken as I think about it. Perhaps I might change up the sides a bit, but these are what I usually order.
