Tomorrow will be a long day of travel.

I will have to get up early and be down to breakfast as soon as the restaurant opens, as I have to be at the train station for a 7:32 train. I have about a 15-20 minute walk to the station, so must be out the door of the hotel by around 7:00 to make sure I don’t miss my train.

I will then change trains at Erfut and take an ICE to the Frankfurt airport.

Here is the train station at the Frankfurt Airport where I will arrive. I then have a long walk to the check-in area for my flight.

I will then have some time in the Lufthansa lounge before boarding a United 777 for my flight to San Francisco. I am really glad that United has almost completed the process of switching to the Boeing 777 for the FRA/SFO route.

It will be nice to see this view as I wait for the parking shuttle after clearing immigration and picking up my bag.

The schedule arrival time is 4:30pm so by the time I make it to my car rush hour traffic will have commenced. It will be a long drive home.

I will hopefully get home in time to get unpacked and start some laundry before bedtime.

Now for some sleep 🙂
