Second Breakfast

When you have a flight with an early morning arrival time is is often necessary to have a second breakfast.

SFO International Airport, San Francisco International AirportMy last two trips home from the Eastern Hemisphere have arrived in the early morning so I have stopped off at the Pleasanton Chick-fil-A for a second breakfast on the way to the office.

Chick-fil-A,Breakfast, Chicken Biscuit, Hash BrownsI had an omelette with sausage on the flight for breakfast so decided that for second breakfast I needed a chicken biscuit and some hash browns.

This actually may qualify as fourth breakfast as I had breakfast at the hotel in Singapore and also at the airport. All of this on Thursday. Maybe it was a second second breakfast 🙂

I was definitely Eating Like a Hobbit today.

Chicken Biscuit, Chick-fil-A, BreakfastHere is my chicken biscuit. It was nice and tasty. The richness of a southern biscuit with a nice piece of chicken.

Last time I had a sausage biscuit. Yes you can get a pork sausage biscuit at Chick-fil-A.

Chick-fil-A hash browns, Chick-fil-A BreakfastHere is my nice little box of hash browns. I think that next time I may get a dipping sauce for them. Especially if it is a second breakfast, or elevenses.

I was also able to talk to the owner/operator and introduce myself.  When I introduced myself he knew who I was as he followed my blog posts during the construction of the Pleasanton Chick-fil-A.

With another breakfast in my belly it was time to go to work and get caught up on a few things before finally heading home.

California Spring, Blossoms, White blossomsThe first day of spring is just a few days away and you can definitely tell that it is time as there are beautiful blossoms everywhere.

Here is a stand of blooming trees at the abandoned SAP buildings in Dublin.

Now for some sleep. I was luckily able to stay up all day to help overcome jet lag.

Good thing I got enough breakfast today as good nutrition also helps with jet lag.
