Today we took a drive north from Toronto to view some Fall Color.
There were some very pretty trees along our route. We pulled off several times to take pictures. This was one of the prettiest trees along the way. I like the gravel road and the trees in the background of this shot.
Just down the road was this little lane. Could you imagine driving down this lane during the height of color? I know that all of us took pictures of this pretty spot.
You can see from this picture that the drive was very beautiful. If we would have made stops at every place that was full of color we would have taken forever to get up to Georgian Bay.
It was nice to look out over the countryside and see clumps of colorful trees and also beautiful fields. The day was quite cloudy and we had occasional showers, but there was enough light for us to enjoy the fabulous landscape.
We also saw many farms along the way. We saw so many old barns and also old brick homes. There were many houses along the way that I would love to live in. Unfortunately I don’t have very many good pictures of them. Partly because many of them were surrounded by trees and also I would see them too late to get my camera ready for a picture.
I hope that you enjoyed this glimpse of fall color.
Steven
My post today was also about fall colors, in California. π
