The new Hostess has done a good job of releasing limited edition or seasonal products. I ran across a new one on Saturday.

Hostess has released a limited edition of Red Velvet CupCakes. They of course are a variation of the normal CupCakes.

You may remember the Scary Cakes and Orange S’Cream Twinkies  from Halloween.

The box is nicely decorated for Valentine’s Day.

The cakes look really nice on the box, but what do they actually look like.

I opened the end of the box and here was my first glimpse of the individually wrapped cakes.

I unwrapped one of the cakes and found that it had a nice red “original squiggle” on top of a white icing. They definitely are pretty enough for a Valentine’s Day treat.

Next was tasting time.  The cup cakes were really good and had that nice Red Velvet taste. They also looked very pretty with the red cake and white filling.

I will definitely be enjoying these over the next week or so.
