Today has been a long day, so I will only post a few pictures.

I am visiting friends in the foothills and one of the things we did today was take a six mile walk through the woods.

I have not used the WordPress editor on my I-Pad for some time, so I hope the pictures come out OK. If not, I will just have to edit this post later.

I decided to focus on some mossy posts tonight. Mainly because the picture above is one of my favorites of the day.

I really like how the moss looks in this picture.

Here is a post with even more moss. The path we were on follows an old rail bed. At one time it was also open range and that accounts for the old fence. It kept the cattle out of a creek bed that we were also following.

In this picture the post is almost hidden by the background. The post has so much moss that it is a bit camouflaged.

I hope you enjoyed this mossy post. I hope to share more pictures from my walk today in the near future.

Tomorrow I am going to help do some cleanup at an old Victorian house. It should be fun and maybe I will have some good pictures to share.
