Ready for Fall

The Autumnal Equinox which marks the change from summer to fall was just a few hours ago and we are now in the fall season. You may have a calendar that states that the Autumnal Equinox is on September 23. According to Universal Time (UT) this would be correct as the equinox this year was at 2:29 UT on September 23. However, the core of my readership is in the United States where the equinox was on the evening of September 22.

Fall Colors, Fall, Autumn, Change of seasons, Autumnal EquinoxI am ready for Fall Color as the trees and foliage start to slowly change color.

The picture above was taken in Groveland, California a couple years ago. I really like the beautiful red leaves on this tree.

Fall Color, Yellow Leaves, Groveland California, AutumnHere is even More Fall Color. I really like this scene with the old barn under a canopy of yellow leaves.

This picture was also taken in Groveland. There was really nice color there two years ago. I am hoping that we have beautiful colors again this year in California.

Fall Leaves, San Ramon, Fall Color, Autumn, Red and Yellow leavesThe Fall Leaves can be very pretty, especially when they are scattered on a sidewalk.

I love the colors in this picture that I took in San Ramon, California.

Yellow Leaves, Fall Color, Tracy California, Library, Golden Color, Fall Evening LightThis is one of my favorite tree pictures. Here we have a beautiful tree full of yellow leaves that is reflecting the setting sun on a beautiful fall evening. This tree is closer to home and is just across from the local library. I really hope that it is as beautiful this year as it was when this picture was taken two years ago.

Are you ready for the trees to change color?

Steven
