I took another Walk in the Park tonight, and captured a few pictures that made me think of my Flora and Fauna series of posts.
So, tonight you get the sixth entry in the series.
The pictures are all taken in or around the Rowntree Mills Park in Toronto.
The first picture was taken on the way to the park.
Here we have a bee visiting the center of a beautiful sunflower. I always like seeing sunflowers as they remind me of growing up in the Sunflower State of Kansas.
I am not sure what this bug is, but it looks really cool sitting on top of a dried up thistle plant. I also like the field of yellow behind the thistles.
Here is a ladybug on the underside of a thistle leaf. The red bug is a neat contrast the the fading colors of the leaf.
Next up is a bee that is harvesting nectar from small yellow flowers. The yellow and black wasp almost gets lost to sight as it works through the flowers. Luckily I caught this one on the surface.
Here is one more nice picture that I took. I really love the contrast of the yellow and black in this picture.
Which of these pictures is your favorite?
Steven
