Westin Wanderings

My mind is wandering as usual tonight. I am getting ready for a trip to Canada so I have been thinking of pictures that I have taken on previous trips.

This evening as I was leaving work I also heard about the death of Robin Williams. So many memories of the TV shows and movies that he has starred in have wandered through my head.

Together these two wandering streams have come together and made me think of this picture.

Robin, Westin Prince, Toronto, Memories of Robin, Robin WilliamsI took this picture in front of the Westin Prince Hotel where I stay when I conduct training at our Toronto office.

I was having trouble finding this picture until I remembered that I had posted it as a Picture of the Day on Facebook a little over two years ago. It was one of the last Picture of the Day posts as this blog took over as my daily creative output.

Black Squirrel - Eastern Gray Squirrel - melanistic squirrel - Sciurus carolinensis - TorontoDuring my last trip to Toronto I took pictures of Black Squirrels at the Westin. I hope to see them again and get some new pictures with my newer camera.

You can read more about them in my post: Black Squirrels

Westin Prince Toronto Canada - Flower Clock - Fall Colors - Floral ClockThey have a flower clock at the Westin Prince and it will be interesting to see what flowers they have for summer instead of Fall Color.

Westin Prince Hotel, Toronto, Westin Toronto, HotelOK, one more picture to add to the post. I had to search for this one also, but knew that I had taken it. Here is the Westin Prince. The hotel is surrounded by some very nice landscape. I really like the color of the sky and the silhouettes in this picture.

OK, enough wandering for tonight.

What is your favorite Robin Williams memory?

Mine is probably his role as Mork.

Steven

Oh ya, I remember this clock. So gorgeous eh? I’ve not seen too many Robin Williams films but thought he was good in Mrs Doubtfire
