March Flowers

I really love spring time when there are flowers blooming all over the place. Of course I pay special attention to my rose garden but also look around my neighborhood for other flowers.

Tonight I will share a few more rose pictures and also some beautiful little blooms from my neighbors across the street.

St. Patrick Rose - Rose Bloom Opening - March FlowersHere is a bloom on my St. Patrick rose bush. You can see the beautiful yellow color in the center and also the pale petals on the outside that have a green tint.

I really like yellow roses. They bring back several wonderful memories.

Tropicana Rose Bush - Tropicana Bud - Rose Bush - Coral Color roseMy Tropicana rose bush is a bit behind my yellow rose bushes. I am slowly watching this bloom open. I hope that it opens fully before my next trip.

St. Patrick Rose Bud - Yellow Rose - Spring Flowers - March RosesI really like this rose bud. This is also from my St. Patrick rose bush. I like the blush of color on the edges of the petals.

Jasmine - White Flowers - Depth of Focus I stepped across the street this evening to talk to my neighbors. While I was there I took pictures of the beautiful blooms on their Jasmine bush. I don’t know the specific variety of Jasmine, but perhaps one of my readers can let me know.

Jasmine blooms - Scented Jasmine - Beautiful flowers, Wonderful fragranceThe fragrance of the Jasmine blossoms was so wonderful. Not only do these little blooms look pretty, but they smell good too.

I really like the depth of focus that I can get with my camera. The bloom in front is perfectly in focus and the ones in the background are out of focus.

I hope that you enjoyed this little look at spring in California.

Oh boy, I’m behind on some of my mail. Sorry Steven. I did enjoy your roses. The pink on the very tip of the Yellow St Patrick rose is really pretty. I remember the Jasmine blooming on Coronado Island, my gosh! I could smell it all the way down the block.
