Tonight I will just give a preview of some of the pictures that I took today at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney.
One of the first exhibits I visited was the Koalas. They were napping in the warm weather.
I took pictures of flowers too, zoos are a good place to take flower pictures. There are almost always a broad variety of flowers at the zoo.
Here a towering Giraffe joins the skyline of Sydney.
The Taronga Zoo is a Zoo with a View. There are many places where you get a nice view of Sydney Harbour, the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge.
My mouth is starting to mimic this Salt Water Crocodile. I am starting to yawn as I am tiring quickly after a long day. What Big Teeth this crocodile has. Actually it is cooling off as it radiates heat through the mouth.
I need to be doing the same at this Sumatran Tiger. It is time to get some shut eye.
I hope you enjoyed this preview. I will share more pictures soon.

What animal would you like to see a picture of?
Steven

These are wonderful pictures, Steven. The light is just beautiful: it does make me yearn for Summer, here in the heart of a British winter. Can’t wait to hear more!
Holy, ya you really get good views back to the city from there. I’m not a big zoo visitor, I’m very conflicted about animals in captivity. We have been to the one in San Diego and the animals typically have generous quarters there. Geez Louise, that Croc is scary looking. I’d be hesitant to swim in any lake or pond there. We met a couple on our European trip from Australia who lived on a lake in Australia that had a tributary back to the ocean. They were telling us about a type of shark that can live in fresh water OR salt water and they’d see the odd fin in the lake. You wouldn’t get me skiing out there.
