Wednesday Word Search – Cat

Welcome to another Wednesday Word Search where I pick a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Awhile back I searched for ‘hat’ and ‘bat’ so started a theme of ‘?at’ words. Last week I searched for ‘gold’ as I was inspired by the Olympics

The word for tonight is: Cat

I decided to start going through the ?at words sequentially

What images will I find?

Zeiss Innovation Center, Dublin, California, ConstructionHere is a Big Cat that was used for the sight prep of the new office I am working in.

Christ Church Cathedral - Falkland IslandsHere is a picture of Christ Church Cathedral in the Falkland Islands. Notice the large whale bone arch in front of the building. I visited the Falkland Islands on the way to Antarctica.

Alcatraz Power House - Golden Gate Bridge - Sunset on San Francisco BayHere is the Power house out on the end of Alcatraz Island. You can see the Golden Gate Bridge in the background.

Christmas Market, Jena Germany, snow, Christmas TimeHere is a picture from the Market square in Jena, Germany that I titled Catching snow on tongue.

Cat - Feline - Cat Eyes - Tarragon the Cat - KittyFor my final image I selected one of my favorite cat pictures. This is my favorite picture of Tarragon who belonged to some of my best friends.

I have many more images for ‘cat’ but my usual number to share is five, so I will bring this to a close.

These images show that ‘cat’ is a sequence used in many words.

Which is your favorite ‘cat’ picture?

What should I search for next? It will probably continue with some ?at words.

Tuesday Towers

Tonight I am going to share pictures of towers that I have shared over the years.

Tell es-Sultan - Neolithic Tower - Oldest Tower in the worldI am going to start with a picture of the oldest tower in the world. This is the Neolithic tower at Tell es-Sultan. Tell es-Sultan is better know as Jericho. Of course most people remember Jericho for the walls, but it also has this very old tower that was uncovered.

Newport Tower, Benedict Arnold, Mystries, Templars, VikingsHere is an image from one of my Grandma’s Scrapbooks of the mysterious round tower at Newport, Rhode Island. See my post Newport Tower to see what my theory is for the origin of the tower.

Fuchsturm - Fox Tower - Jena, Germany - Hausberg - Snow Covered Trail - HikingThis tower is in the hills above Jena, Germany. This is known as the Fuchsturm or the Fox Tower. I have been by the tower many times over the years. It has a wonderful restaurant beside it that serves some very traditional food.

Salesforce Tower, San Francisco, New Tallest Building, Iconic buildingsCloser to home is the new Salesforce Tower in San Francisco which was completed in 2018. It is the tallest tower, by roof-line, west of the Mississippi River.

Lookout Tower - Ankerstein - NF10 - Anchor Blocks - Building with stonesI will end with a tower that I built at home using Ankerstein set NF10.

I really like this Lookout Tower.

See Building a Tower for more details.

I hope you enjoyed these towers from around the world.
