While looking through some old pictures taken over 20 years ago with my first digital camera I came across a few interesting student pictures.
The first two are from a course that I taught in Welwyn Garden City, England. One of my students had come to the course in his caravan along with his wife and dog. His wife had a job where she could work remotely.
One day during the course his wife had to do some work in an office so my student brought the dog with him to class. Fortunately the course was in a small building separate from the office there, so it was OK for him to bring the dog.
The dog was well behaved, and we even prepared a certificate for attendance in the course.
The second group of pictures is from a course I taught far away from home. To make better use of my time I agreed to teach on a Saturday. The wife of one of the students had to work and he was not able to find child care, so it was agreed that he could bring his two young ones to the course. This was my youngest ever student.
His older child even did some work on the instrument that they were learning how to repair.
It was an interesting day of class.
