Last Friday while driving home I noticed that the Livermore Chick-fil-A was under construction. Today on the way home I decided to make a stop and take a couple quick pictures of the construction.
The site has been in the planning and approval process from at least 2018. Here is a picture of the site taken back when I first found out where the Chick-fil-A would be built.
As you can see here the construction of the building is well underway.
The site where the Chick-fil-A is being built was recently annexed by the city of Livermore, and is located off of N. Livermore Avenue.
It is going to be interesting to see how the parking lot and drive-through are configured as this is at a very busy intersection near 580.
I have not see anything about when the opening is anticipated, but I did find a couple employment sites that had positions posted for staff for the restaurant.
There is not even a coming soon banner posted at the site for Chick-fil-A, but I know this is the site.
This is a good location, and will probably have a lot of late afternoon business from people commuting home on 580. I can see myself putting in an order as I leave my office and stopping through the drive-through to pick it up on the way home, or maybe if traffic is bad stopping and enjoying dinner inside while the traffic dissipates.
