Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.
Last week I continued the current sequence with ‘uot.’ This week I will search for ‘vot.’ There will be some gaps in this ‘*ot’ sequence, including ‘aot’, as not all combinations will find images.
What images will I find?
The first image is from the front page of the Kansas City Star in November 1988. I was working as a volunteer at the Jackson County Republican headquarters helping get the vote out. I am sitting on top of a large stack of mail bags.
Next is a picture of the book James Madison and the Struggle for the Bill of Rights by Richard Labunski. The book is in the Pivotal Moments in American History series.
Here is a Votive Church built with Ankerstein.
Next is an I Voted sticker. I have a small collection of these on my bedroom mirror.
Finally we have an Old Voting Machine from Crawfordsville, Indiana.
There were only a few ‘vot’ images to choose from and most of them had to do with voting. I hope you like the selections that I made.
Which is your favorite of these pictures?
What should I search for next? I will probably continue with the ‘*ot’ series as I have one more letter that has images.
