Outside of the entrance to the office I work in we have a patch of preserved wetlands.
There is a walking path around the wetlands where I like to take a walk to get some fresh air during breaks from class.
Of course, I always have my camera along with me.
Tonight I will just share some pictures from a recent walk. Unfortunately, I don’t know the names of the plants. Perhaps someone can help me with the names. They are not necessarily wetlands plants, but plants that are native to California.
I do know one of the flowers seen in this picture. If you look closer you can see some California Poppies.
These remind me of cattails, but not like the ones I have seen in the past.
These are pretty cool with the small while flowers.
I like these purple flowers. I like the symmetry of the petals on the stalk.
I am not sure what these are called, but I like the way that that the blooms progress as they age.
If you know what some of these plants are, let me know.
