Lately I have been posting pictures of my red roses, so I thought I would let some of my yellow roses also have time to show their color.
Here is a nice yellow rose bud on my St. Patrick rose bush.
The blooms are also really pretty this year. Can you see the slight green tinge on the outer petals?
The sun is catching this one just right to light up the yellow colors.
The rose bush is yellow floribunda rose bush. Do you notice the abundance of yellow roses? What else do you see? There are some different colors showing up. This happens most years in the same place on the bush. It is not a reversion to the original root stock as the blooms are the same, it is probably just picking up something from the soil through one of the roots.
Here is a closer view of one of the blooms with the reddish tinge.
I hope you enjoyed these yellow roses.
