Coronation Thoughts

This morning I watched the Coronation of King Charles III and some of the images brought back memories from a trip to England at the end of the last century.

We also went through a museum by the palace.

Had we seen the carriage that was used today? I then noticed that this was a picture that I took of a picture. You can notice the black along the bottom of the picture.

It was an interesting coronation. An interesting mix of ancient and modern. However, I would have liked to have seen more of the old customs.
