The year is coming to an end, but the roses are still blooming here.
I took these pictures just before Thanksgiving. It is amazing how late in the year we will have rose blooms. It is difficult to prune roses when they are still blooming. Not physically, but emotionally.
How can I prune a rose bush when there are still blooms in the eaves.
I did prune some of my smaller bushes that didn’t have any blooms on them.
This rose bud was at the Community Rose Garden. I really like the color of this rose bud.
This one has a bit more yellow. These blooms look really nice when they open.
Here is one more that is white with yellow and pink highlights.
The roses may not last much longer as we have been having some frost in the area. It is weird to be out walking and to be able to see your breath.
Next week I may have to prune my roses as I will be teaching a virtual course in Australia and have my mornings free.
