A Day of English Meals

Since I have a couple of students from England in my course this week I am thinking back to some of my teaching trips to England.

Here is a typical day of meals when I am teaching in England.

Sausage, Bacon, Eggs, Beans, Potatoes, Tomato, Blood PuddingThe morning usually starts off with a full English Breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage, beans, potatoes, grilled tomato and blood pudding.

English Sandwich, Tesco, Lunch, Carolina BBQLunch is usually a tray of sandwiches brought in, but if no plans were made for lunch it may just be off to Tesco to buy something. Here is a Smokehouse Pulled Pork with Carolina Style BBQ Sauce. Maybe not quite the typical English sandwich, but not so different either.

Fish and Chips, English DinnerHere is a typical dinner of Fish and Chips. The fish was nice and flaky and really good, the chips were crisp and the chick-pea puree was tasty.
