I usually only get to see Sumo on TV when I travel to Japan. However, I stumbled across a Sumo competition on TV tonight.

I found the program on Sports California. I was really surprised to see it.

It looks like it may be a recurring event on Fight Sports, so I may be able to watch Sumo occasionally.

Look at the size of these two wrestlers. They both are over six feet tall and weigh over 400 pounds.

Here they are set for battle.

They are quick off the mark, and even show a blur of movement in this picture.

The fight is usually over soon as one of them will get knocked out of the ring fairly quick.

I will have to watch for the next showing. Sumo is an interesting sport to watch with all of the ritual that takes place.
