Back in 2015 we were touring through Israel after participating in an archaeological dig. We were driving through the Lower Galilee when we saw a road sign and decided to make a brief stop.

We took the road into the city of Nain and stopped to take some pictures.

Many of you may remember what happened in Nain, especially when you look at the sign above. You can read about the miracle in Luke 7. The miracle happened the day after Jesus healed the Centurion’s son.

Nain is about 14 kilometers south of Nazareth and is at the base of the Hill of Moreh.

If you go up and over the hill you would be in the Jezreel Valley.

We only made a brief stop as we were on our way to visit Megiddo which is about 20km down the road to the west.
