Earlier this week was the Lunar New Year which began the Year of the Tiger.

To help celebrate the Lunar New Year I decided to share some pictures of tigers I have taken around the world.

I will start with probably the best picture I have taken of a tiger.

This is a Sumatran tiger at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia. I really like this majestic looking beast.

Next is a tiger at the Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha, Nebraska. I was with my nephew when I took this picture and he let me know it was a Missouri Tiger. He is a big Missouri fan, especially for basketball.

Here is a closeup of a tiger at the Toronto Zoo. I am glad that there was a chain-link fence between us.
