Wednesday Image Search – OO

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Awhile back I searched for ‘hat’ and ‘bat’ so started a theme of ‘?at’ words. I finished the theme, so am now searching for double vowels

Tonight in the new theme of double vowels I am searching for ‘oo’.

These should be interesting. There are a lot of words with double ‘oo’ and I have a lot of images to choose from.

What images will I find?

Sao Paulo Zoo, zoos, South AmericaWith the first image we have the entrance to the Zoologico de Sao Paulo. I have a lot of zoo pictures and there were many to choose from.

Boyhood Home, Ottumwa Iowa, Old HouseThe second image is of my boyhood home back in Ottumwa, Iowa.

Lunch, Chinese Food, Shanghai Food, Chinese CuisineNext we have some Chinese food that was our lunch during a training in Shanghai. I have enjoyed many great meals in Shanghai through the years.

Mister Lincoln, Rose Bloom, Raindrops on Roses, Red RoseNext is one of my Mr. Lincoln rose blooms with raindrops on it.

Wood Duck, Aix Sponsa, Carolina Duck, Perching Duck, High Park, Toronto, CanadaFinally we have a wood duck (Aix Sponsa), swimming in a stream at a park in Toronto.

There is a lot of  variety in these images as ‘oo’ is in a lot of words. I had more than 600 images to choose from.

Which is your favorite of these ‘oo’ pictures?

What should I search for next? I think I will continue the theme of double vowels with ‘uu’.
