Wednesday Image Search – II

Welcome to another Wednesday Image Search where I pick a string of letters or a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Awhile back I searched for ‘hat’ and ‘bat’ so started a theme of ‘?at’ words. I finished the theme, so am now searching for double vowels

Tonight in the new theme of double vowels I am searching for ‘ii’.

These should be interesting. There are a lot of words with double vowels, but not many with double ‘ii’.

What images will I find?

Sylvilagus audubonii - desert cottontail - Audubon's cottontail - Central Valley RabbitWith the first image we have a Desert Cottontail (Sylvilagus audubonii) which is also known as Audubon’s cottontail.

Kartoffel House, pork, potatoes, german cuisine, pinappleThe second image is of Pork Hawaiian at the Kartofell Haus in Jena, Germany. I like the Pineapple rings on top of the pork fillets.

Jen,a germany, lo studente, pizza, hawaiian pizzaNext we have a Hawaiian pizza at Lo Studente, which is a Italian restaurant in Jena.

Sabanci Merkez Camii - Adana Mosque - Sabanci Family - Large MosqueNext is the Sabanci Merkez Camii, which is a mosque in Adana, Turkey. It is the second largest mosque in Turkey after the Blue Mosque in Istanbul. I saw both of them during a vacation to Turkey eight years ago.

King's Hawaiian Bread - Hawaiian Sweet Bread - Home Pride Replacement Quest - Hostess BrandsFinally we have a package of Hawaiian Sweet bread. I really like the taste of this bread, although I usually just buy the small packages of rolls.

Not as much variety in these images. I was tempted to use images that use images that came up because of Roman numerals, such as II or VII.

Which is your favorite of these ‘ii’ pictures?

What should I search for next? I think I will continue the theme of double vowels with ‘oo’.

Steven
