This afternoon I had a memory pop up on Facebook that made me think.
I had to think back as to why I was going to be in the air for 24 hours during two days.
Then I remembered trips that I had to take to the UK over the holidays six years ago.
I made a trip to Glasgow the week before Christmas which ended with me flying home on Christmas Eve after also visiting customers in England.
Then after being home for Christmas and New Years I then flew back to London for another week of visiting customers.
While there I visited Steventon where Jane Austen grew up.
I was also in Cambridge where I was able to visit campuses where my ancestors went to college more than 400 years ago.
Then it was back home to sleep and repack before taking a flight to Shanghai to teach a course that had already been planned before the trips to England.
Eighteen hours after leaving the airport after my return from London I was back again to board the flight to Shanghai, Thankfully there were no delays as I had to teach the next morning after my flight that arrived late on Sunday.
Lots of memories from the trips to the UK and China as I look back at some of the pictures in posts from that time period.
I am trying to think how to say the following: I slept on three different continents in three consecutive nights of sleep. Should I also add in the night I spent in the air on the way to Shanghai?
