Winter Storm

This past week there has been a slow moving winter storm passing through. The temperatures have been dropping along with the snow levels. We at least had a white Christmas up in the hills.

Sister in Snow - 9 inch snow fall - Fun in the Cold - Winter sceneThe snow brought back some good memories of playing in the snow when growing up in Iowa. My Sister has sent several pictures of the snow they have had this year, but this one is from long ago.

There has been record snow fall for December in some places up in the mountains here in California and we still have a few days left. It will be good to build a deep snow pack this year to help alleviate some of the drought we have been undergoing.

  2. What I understand California needs the moisture.
