Flying Insects

Here are some flying insects. I was searching for inspiration for a post and ran across a picture that started me thinking about flying insects.

Trithemis kirbyi dragonfly at the Spring of Harod - Gideon's SpringI like this scarlet dragonfly that I saw at the Spring of Harod in Israel.

Dragon Fly - Coca-Cola Umbrella - Fauna - Where in the worldHere is another dragonfly from Israel. I took this picture at Caesarea Maritima. This one is not as colorful as the previous one.

Papilio rutulus, western tiger swallowtail, butterflyHere is a Western Tiger Swallowtail (papilio rutulus) in my backyard.

Flying Bee, Karaman Museum, Karaman Turkey, Flora and FaunaHere is a bee that I captured an image of at a museum in Karaman, Turkey. I got some good bee pictures when I took a tour of Turkey.
