Wednesday Word Search – Open

Welcome to another Wednesday Word Search where I pick a word and share some of the images I find in an image search of the blog.

Last time I searched for ‘walk’ so I thought about searching for ‘run’.

However, the big event of the week here is the re-opening of California so decided on another word.

The word for tonight is: Open

This may be interesting as ‘open’ is used in different ways.

Will all the images have a clear meaning of open?

Thanksgiving meal, Red Tractor, Open Face Turkey SandwichThis image is of a meal I had at the Red Tractor to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving one year. This one showed up because I had an open-face turkey sandwich.

Square Opening, Archaeology, Tel Lachish, digThis image is of the opening of a new square on an archaeologic dig.

Hippopotamus, open mouth, Toronto ZooHere we have a hippopotamus with an open mouth.

Interstate 29 Opening - Hamburg, Iowa, Omaha, Road OpeningThis will bring back memories to some of my readers. Remember when I-29 opened near Hamburg, Iowa?

Goreme Open Air Museum - Cappadocia - Rock churchesHere we have an image from the Goreme Open Air Museum in Turkey which had incredible cave churches you could walk through.

I have more images for ‘open’ but my usual number to share is five, so I will bring this to a close.

Definitely an interesting mix of images from a search for ‘open’.

Which is your favorite ‘open’ picture?

What should I search for next? Maybe ‘closed’ or ‘run’.

Steven
