This afternoon while in a TEAMS meeting I looked up at the top of my monitor and saw that I had a little visitor.

Of course I had to get a picture so I shut off my webcam and grabbed my phone. After sending a snap to my sister I grabbed my camera. I am not sure how this little mantis nymph made it so far inside, but perhaps when I went out to pick up my newspaper this morning I brushed against a rose bush and it hitched a ride.
You can definitely tell that I need to dust the top of my monitor. It was a bit hard to get focused pictures but I was able to get a few.
The mantis finally started to climb down the back of the monitor and was soon out of sight.

I have looked for it a few times this afternoon and evening without success. Perhaps it will find the way back outside where it belongs.
