This is the time of year for the California Poppy (Eschscholzia californica), which is the State flower of California.
In the landscaping around our new building there are a lot of poppies. I am sure that we will have other flowers depending on the time of year, but for now it is nice to see these beautiful flowers.
There are large landscaped areas around the building to help preserve the environment.
We have a section of wetlands that is preserved, and it will be interesting to see what flora and fauna end up living there.
I am definitely looking forward to walking the circuit around the wetlands. I am sure that eventually the local rafter of Wild Turkeys will eventually find it as the edge of their natural range is about a block away.
I am glad that we have this park like setting, as it will be nice to go outside and take a walk in the fresh air.
I am not sure how much time I will spend at the office in the coming months, but we are slowly opening up and allowed more time at the office.
