Last night at the grocery store I noticed Lucky Charms on a box in the Hot Cocoa section.
I decided that I needed to take a box of the Swiss Miss with Lucky Charms Marshmallows home with me. I was almost out of hot chocolate, which is how I refer to it.
It is interesting to see some new ways of marketing Lucky Charms in the past couple of years.
Inside the box the packets are paired with one side having the hot cocoa mix and the other the marshmallows.
Tonight I turned on the kettle and got ready for some hot chocolate. Here is a view of the marshmallows in their packet. There really doesn’t seem to be enough of them.
The chocolate mix was soon in the cup waiting for the hot water.
The hot cocoa was soon ready and waiting for the marshmallows.
There were not even enough marshmallows to cover the surface in a standard coffee cup, and they melted away very quickly. It was a bit disappointing.
It would have been much better with bigger marshmallows that were fresh. Perhaps I should have looked to see if they still has some Lucky Charms Marshmallows on the shelf. They would have been just the right size for hot chocolate.
Good thing they didn’t cost any more than the regular hot chocolate 🙂
Actually, maybe they were a bit more as I usually don’t buy them with marshmallows.
Do you like your hot chocolate with or without marshmallows?
