When is your peanut butter jar empty?
Do you get out the next jar when your peanut butter jar looks like this?
There is way too much peanut butter here to throw away.
It is time to get out a long spoon or knife and go to work getting the rest of the peanut butter out of the jar.
How about this? Is it empty enough to throw away yet? My Dad would say no.
I have memories of him visiting me in Kansas City and cleaning out my almost empty peanut butter jars.
This is getting a bit closer to empty, but there are still a few good bits left.
There still might be a little bit left. Can I get the rest of those small pieces, or does the effort outweigh the reward at this point?
Finally the jar is clean and ready to go to the recycle bin.
Of course, you want to make sure it is a JIF jar that you are cleaning out.
How clean are your peanut butter jars when you recycle them?
