Triple Digit Heat

We just had a second day of triple digit heat with at least one more day tomorrow. There are also a few triple digit days in the forecast for next week.

We also have poor air quality from some fires north of the Bay Area so I am a bit tired out.

My roses are also affected by the heat, so I will just share some pictures of my roses tonight.

Dried out roses, small roses, triple digit heat, hotEven though these roses are getting plenty of water, they are getting dried out from the heat.

Dried out roses, roses, triple digit heat, hotHere the petals have dried out, but are still attached to the rose center. There are two buds that are starting to open, but you can see that they have been scorched a bit by the heat.

I made sure that all my roses got some water tonight so hopefully they will not dry out too much.

Now for some sleep, but no open windows tonight. It is still in the 90’s and it is almost 11:00.
