Hostess has a new Limited Edition CupCake out this spring.

The Spring CupCakes are a yellow cake with a lavender colored vanilla icing.

The box art definitely looks like spring.

Here we see the side of the box. I like the little butterfly on the box, as it is definitely one of the things that I look for during spring.

The CupCakes are of course individually wrapped. Here we see them in the box.

The CupCake definitely looks like the art on the box. The frosting is a nice shade of lavender and it has the nice squiggle.

Of course the Spring CupCake has a nice creamy filling. This was a very sweet CupCake. You just get the yellow cake and vanilla tastes which are not very strong. They do not offset the sweetness of the filling very well.

Now, if the frosting had a lavender taste, that might have been interesting 🙂

I hope that you are seeing signs of spring where you live, but I know that many of my friends received snow this week. We are having a wet spring weekend here.
