This evening I fly back to London after spending the holidays at home.
At least this time I am a better prepared as the flight two weeks ago came at very short notice.
I am not sure whether the San Francisco International terminal will still be lit up, but this will be my view later this evening.
This will also be my view as I will be taking the same Saturday night flight to London as I did two weeks ago.
Packing for the trip was a bit of a challenge as I am carrying a few items that I normally don’t take on a trip. However, since I am only staying five nights in England I have plenty of room in my suitcase.
This trip will be a bit easier as I will stay at one hotel the entire trip instead of moving to a different hotel each night.
I am glad that it is not 1946 and that there is a modern terminal at Heathrow. They have a very neat historical perspective in the tunnel between the two concourses in Terminal 2 at Heathrow.
I am looking forward to some good English bacon on the trip. It is not too often that I have English bacon, but I like it better than our American bacon.
I might have some bangers and mash again during the trip. Doesn’t this plate of food look really good?
Fish and chips are probably on the menu as it makes for a quick lunch while we travel around the southern parts of England.
Stay tuned to see where I end up during the week. I don’t know my schedule yet, so can’t even tell you where I will be π All I know is that I will be in Basingstoke each night.
