On Saturday after returning from Australia I ran across another limited edition Hostess snack cake while out shopping.

On the shelf with other Hostess products was a box of Holiday Cakes. You can also see Red Velvet CupCakes which almost got added to my cart. I know that they taste good.

I did add the Hostess Holiday Cakes to my cart as I wanted to give them a try. Especially as they are Limited Edition and won’t be around for long.

Hostess had definitely been releasing a lot of Holiday themed products this year. See Pumpkin Spice CupCakes and Candy Corn CupCakes.

I opened the box tonight to give them a try. As usual they are individually wrapped which makes it fun to open and eat.

After dropping it on the floor I finally succeeded in getting one out of the stubborn wrapper. Luckily I dropped it before I opened it 🙂

Here you can see the red and green sprinkles. Again, not as many as are in the picture on the box, but this is the pattern with Hostess.

Of course they had a nice taste as they are simply a variation of the standard cupcake. I do like the creamy filling.

Now to put one in my work bag to have as a snack tomorrow afternoon.
