North of the Border

A quick post tonight as I have had a long day of travel and then a great evening spending time with my friends in Canada.

Air Canada, Flight to Toronto, SFO Airport, National Aviation Day

This is not the aircraft I flew on today, but I did fly on Air Canada. I flew on a 767 and sat near the rear of the aircraft. The seat layout in the 767 is 2-3-2 and I was in the seat C with someone bigger than me in seat A. Not the most  comfortable flight. Canada Day - Canadian Flag - Toronto, Canada - Maple Leaf - Flag

I did watch a movie that I have always planned on seeing, but had never gotten around to. I really enjoyed watching The King’s Speech. Colin Firth did a wonderful job playing the King in this movie. I may have to watch it again someday on a bigger screen and with better sound.

Rowntree Mills Park, Bridge, Humber River, Grass

Maybe tomorrow or Sunday I will take A Walk in the Park. There is a very nice park near my friends’ house.

I am working on Memorial Day next week, but made a compromise so that I could get this course on my schedule. We could not hold the course last week as it was Victoria Day in Canada.

Tracy California Cemetery - Memorial Day - Graves of Veterans - Decoration DayI will miss visitng the local cemetery and taking part in the Memorial Day Observance, but I will be thinking about them on Monday.

Before my mind wanders again, I will close this and get some sleep. I seem to have lost three hours today.
