Just a quick post tonight as I have had a very long day.
Waking up in the middle of the night with an aching back did not help.
Maybe it was all those chimneys and bags full of toys, but most likely because of Garage Door Down.
The picture above was taken on Christmas Eve. It looks so silent in this sunset picture. I like the silhouettes of the trees and the little sliver of the moon.
Today I went to some friends for a Christmas feast. My friend Tina likes to decorate for different holidays and I really like her snowmen plates.
You can also see some oft he food arriving on the table. These scalloped potatoes were really good and were brought by a neighbor.
Here is the platter of ham. Doesn’t it look really delicious?
I like to have ham for Christmas. Ham is such a good hearty winter meal.
Here is my loaded plate with the ham, potatoes and the addition of baked beans and a dinner roll. A wonderful feast.
Later we had cookies and pies, but I will not tempt anyone by showing pictures of desserts tonight.
Instead, here is a picture of me with a little baby. She was so cute with her little red outfit.
I hope everyone had a good Christmas feast. Now to think of the New Year.
Steven
Love Christmas when our family was here.
