A Walk in the Park

This evening I took a walk in the park and will share a few pictures that I took along the way.

We walked through the Rowntree Mills Park which is along the Humber River in Toronto.

Rowntree Park, Toronto, Canada, Humber River Park, Walk in the ParkThe park is really beautiful with several large expanses of grass surrounded by trees. Here we see one grassy area lit by the evening sun.

Bridge over Humber River, Rowntree Park, Toronto, Canada, walk in the parkThere are several old bridges in the park. They are old iron bridges with wood decks and look very rustic. I enjoyed walking across them and observing the Humber River as it flowed underneath.

Old Bridge, Cobweb, Humber River, Rowntree Mills ParkOf course old bridges are excellent places for spiders to spin webs. I hope that you can see this spider web. They are often hard to capture unless the  light is just right.

Leaf in Spider Web, Spiderweb, Rowntree Mills Park, Toronto, Old BridgeHere we have a leaf that is caught in a spider web and is suspended in the air. You may not be able to see that it is not touching the iron of the bridge rails.

This picture makes me think that soon the trees will be changing color. I will miss that change here in Toronto, but will get to see it at home.

Rowntree Mills Park, Bridge, Humber River, GrassI really like this picture that I took. The grass is sharply focused in front of one of the bridges that crosses over the Humber River. I can almost feel the cool breeze that had sprung up and hear the rippling of the water in the river as I look at this picture.

I hope you enjoyed this glimpse into my walk in the park.
