Remembering Twins

Today would have been the 91st Birthday for my Grandma and her twin brother Perry.

Of course, I have been remembering them today. Last year I wrote a post, Remembering Grandma II. You can visit it to learn more about my Grandma and her brother.

Grandma and her twin, Twins, Siblings, Birthday, RemembranceThis is one of my favorite pictures of my Grandma and her brother.

They both have great smiles in this picture.

People say that this is the side of the family that I take after. I remember visiting Perry in the hospital once and the staff thought that I was his son.

Twins, Cat, Old Twins Picture, Memories, animalsIn my post last year I had another picture taken the same day as this. I found this one tonight that also included a cat.

One of those unplanned pictures I am sure and one that was probably only discovered long after when the pictures were developed.

This makes me think of a picture from my Dad’s family: Click Here

Here is another picture of the twins when they are teenagers. They both look like they are dressed up for a school function. They look great together.

I also just notice that there are two more people in this picture. I wonder who they are. I am sure that my Mom could tell me.

I also like the old car that is in the background of the picture.

So many memories today of both of these special twins. I am also thinking about my special cousins who are also remembering this twin birthday.

Do you have twins in your family?

Steven

  1. Steven, these are lovely. My favourite is the one with the cat in! What a lovely pair of personalities.
