Here are a few pictures from my day as I celebrated our independence.
This afternoon I went to a friend’s house for a BBQ. I had a great hamburger, corn on the cob and beans. A perfect 4th of July meal.
I did not do the best taking pictures tonight. They started the fireworks a bit early this evening and I was not to the place where I normally like to be. I walked to the park which is a little more than a mile away.
However, some of the bad pictures look pretty cool. I had all kinds of camera movement in this picture, but it looks interesting.
The firework looks a bit like purple lightning.
This firework was rotated 90 degrees, but got the biggest crowd response. A beautiful red heart.
This was probably my best picture of the night. I really like the color and intensity of these four shells. I really like the purple on the edges and the bright centers.
The firework show was pretty good, but I think maybe the one for the Apricot Fiesta in Patterson was better. See: Birthday Fireworks
They had a small carnival at the park and I took this nice picture of the big Fun Slide. It was too late to buy tickets, so I didn’t have to make a choice whether to slide down of not.
I hope everyone had a great 4th of July!
Steven
Like how your Weber grill was the first photo.
