Artistic Milan

This evening I am sharing three pictures that I took while in Milan almost eight years ago.

Two of the pictures could have been taken just about anywhere. The third is of a sculpture in a park, so someone may recognize that it was taken in Milan.

However, they are three pictures that I like and they were taken within a short time and space.

Reflection of Tree in water - Milan - Winter reflection - Artistic Milan

This picture may look like it is upside down. However, it is a reflection of a tree in a small pond.

You can definitely tell that it is winter time as you see the beautiful structure of the tree. I also like the reflection of the partly cloudy sky.

Mini Car - Rolling Stone - Tree Reflections - Milan, Italy - Green Mini

There are several things that I like about this picture. First it is a dark green Mini. If I were to buy a tiny little car, this would be the one.

I also like the reflections of the tree on the hood and the windshield. Or should I say bonnet and windscreen?

The Rolling Stone logo also looks really cool.

Sempione Park - Milan, Italy - Sculpture - Chairs in Concrete - Park Art - Milano Art

I really like this sculpture. I guess that is what you would call it. Maybe just Park Art or Public Art.

The many different styles of chairs that are embedded in concrete are really cool. I also like the block representing the orchestra with the different instruments.

I think it would be really cool to sit there and listen to a small group of musicians play.

The reflection of the tree in the pond was taken only a few feet away from here.

All three pictures were taken in Sempione Park which is near the center of Milan. It was a beautiful park in the winter and I can just imagine what it would look like if I get the chance to see it in the spring or summer.

I’m really smitten by that Park Art too. Very clever indeed and attractive. Sometimes Public art is so modern, I neither understand it or appreciate it. This instalment is nice to look at and could be practical, like you say to watch some musicians in the park.
