Thanksgiving is over and now it is on to Christmas. Last year I shared some Classic Christmas Cards from my Grandma’s scrapbooks.
This year I decided to share more of them. This first batch all have a wintry theme. The cards are all just a little over 50 years old.
I really like this first card. The snowboy and snowgirl look so happy together. I also like their scarves. They are my favorite color.
This card also makes me think of my Mom since she has a large snowman collection.
This card makes me think of growing up back in the Midwest where we would have snow every winter. Of course, we didn’t go sleighing. However, I am sure that my Grandma would have remembered riding in a sleigh.
I also like the color combination in this card. The blue and pink make for a nice contrast.
Here we have another beautiful card that features a horse and sleigh. I have several Christmas carols running through my head now.
I like the color of the card and the nice use of glitter in the trees. The yellow blanket in the sleigh is also a very nice splash of color.
The little church building and houses in the background look so peaceful and bring back memories of tiny little towns in Iowa.
Alas, I can only dream of snow unless I want to drive up to the mountains.
Steven

Thanks for sharing some more cards Steven, you’ll never guess which one I pinned, HA. I’m nothing if not consistent. Hey, I just checked and last years aqua card got 52 pins now! Lets see which one gets more.
Of course it does not surprise me that you pinned one. I thought of you when I chose it 🙂
Love them, thanks for sharing!
