Turkey Time is almost here and this time it is the bird not the country. Earlier this month I talked about an upcoming trip to Turkey that I was planning in my post Turkey Time.
The trip is still half a year off, but the time to eat turkey is upon us.
I have had a busy evening, so you just get some tempting pictures of turkey tonight.
How about a turkey with an orange glaze? This turkey was really good. I had it a couple years ago when I visited friends in Groveland.
Last year while visiting I saw a bunch of Wild Turkeys.
I have better pictures of wild turkeys that I have taken at my office. We work near some open space and we often see wild turkeys.
They like to stand on top of cars sometimes. They leave a mess and also a few scratches.
For lunch today our director treated us to a nice meal of turkey and all the trimmings. It was really good. I am looking forward to another one on Thursday with some friends.
I will leave you with one more picture of a wild turkey. I used this one in a post on my Pilgrim Ancestry. I plan to write more about my Pilgrim ancestry this year. Perhaps tomorrow.
Also, not to leave out my Canadian readers. You can read the post I wrote earlier this year about Canadian Thanksgiving.
Steven

Great turkey photos. Enjoy the time.
They look so happy out there, standing around on cars. Happy Thanksgiving Steven.
