This morning we has breakfast at Tim Hortons. My friend John took my picture with a Tim Hortons coffee cup so we could send it to a friend who is a big Starbucks fan.
It was only later that we noticed that I had been photo bombed by someone who looked a lot like Jean Luc Picard from Star Trek.
I posted the picture to Facebook with a title of Caption this.
I received some interesting responses.
Star date 32437.5. Having tracked down George Lucas, I will now exact revenge for creating the character Jar Jar Binks. But first, a photo bomb!
This was one of my favorites. I have had people recently comment that I look like a younger George Lucas. So! We have Star Wars vs. Star Trek.
Below are a few more Star Trek responses.
You’re totally right…that looks like Picard right there. Are you planning on casting him in your Star Wars/Star Trek crossover?
If this guy would get out of the way I could see Captain Picard better!
Another interesting one was.
Pretty much reminds me of, “The Most Interesting Man in the World!” Probably close to being true, also. :). I don’t often drink coffee but when I do it is always from Tim Horton’s!
I also got another caption that was James Bond themed and several responses saying it was a great picture of me.
After being photo bombed at Tim Hortons we headed off to Bass Pro. The Moose in front of the entrance was really cool.
The interior of the store was really cool and had a distinctive Canadian flair. A lot of different items than what I see back home.
Perhaps more photos from Bass Pro will show up later on the blog along with others from my day. I have some neat food pictures.
Anyway, it is time to get this post out there and get some sleep. It seems too early though since the time is three hours later than usual.
Steven

LOL, two of my favourite things, coffee and Star Trek. A shame it’s not Starbucks and James T Kirk π
