Braman's Wanderings

This morning I went out in my backyard after it rained and looked around to see if I could find anything interesting.

My Agapanthus was crawling with snails, so I decided to get some pictures.

This one was a little out of focus so I decided to try and get closer shots.

Here is a little better shot. You can see some of the detail including both the upper and lower tentacles.

Here is a snail crawling straight toward the camera. You can see the eyes right up on top of the upper tentacles. I also like the way that the foot spreads out.

I really like this picture with the snail all stretched out.

And finally, here is a snail crawling away.

I hope I didn’t gross you out with the pictures. They are fascinating little creatures.

Now I am thinking of the first time I ever had escargot. Yum!
