Here are some flying insects. I was searching for inspiration for a post and ran across a picture that started me thinking about flying insects.

I like this scarlet dragonfly that I saw at the Spring of Harod in Israel.

Here is another dragonfly from Israel. I took this picture at Caesarea Maritima. This one is not as colorful as the previous one.

I took this picture of a Yellow Jacket in my front yard long ago.

Here is a Western Tiger Swallowtail (papilio rutulus) in my backyard.

Here is a bee that I captured an image of at a museum in Karaman, Turkey. I got some good bee pictures when I took a tour of Turkey.
